Pat Salvador is a Professional Engineer with more than 28 years of progressive risk management experience in general industry, construction, and consulting. Pat offers a strong compliance track record and extensive hands-on experience developing and implementing environmental, health & safety (EHS) management systems consistent with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ANSI-Z10, and OSHA VPP requirements. Pat applies his diverse technical background and knowledge of six-sigma processes to help clients establish risk priorities, analyze EHS impacts, and create sustainable process improvements.
Pat’s experience includes providing leadership to multi-functional teams to implement EHS management systems with a focus on developing strategies to achieve excellence, improve business metrics, and reduce costs. Pat has written dozens of safety procedure manuals, conducted hundreds of training events, performed regulatory compliance audits, and coordinated the development of job safety plans in manufacturing facilities and on construction projects. Pat also has the technical expertise to provide clients with strategic environmental planning, storm water pollution prevention, and remediation engineering, multi-media permitting, fuel/chemical spill reporting and cleanup and process safety management.
Pat has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Union College and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Syracuse University. Pat is a licensed professional engineer in New York State, a certified six-sigma greenbelt, and an authorized OSHA outreach trainer for general industry. Pat is a member of the Air & Waste Management Association, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Society of Safety Engineers.
