PEACE, Inc. has been a satisfied customer of Haylor Freyer & Coon ("HFC") for more than 15 years. • HFC provides knowledgeable, professional staff to help answer all questions about our policies and the constant changes to our commercial insurance policy (i.e. adding and changing locations, adding and deleting vehicles, increasing limits, etc.)
• One of the HFC team attends our agency's safety committee meeting to offer advice on workplace safety. The representative completed a safety assessment on all of our building sites which (1) allowed us to be pro-active in identifying and addressing potential safety hazards and (2) provided critical information for our Emergency Preparedness Manual.
• With respect to our group health and dental insurances, in a time of rising prices, HFC representatives have worked diligently in researching the market place for products that provide benefits at the most reasonable cost.
In addition to providing excellent service and products, HFC prioritizes giving back to the community and works with PEACE, Inc. on an ongoing basis to improve the quality of life for families with low incomes in our community. HFC participates in our holiday giving program and faithfully supports our annual Champions of Diversity fund raiser. Most recently, HFC donated funds to provide more than 100 children with a summer camp experience and to send 100's more children on special summer day trips.

The purpose of this letter is to summarize the strengths of Everett Griffith as a Health & Safety consultant and to reflect on the time and expertise shared with WeCare Organics, LLC. by him, over the past several years. Mr. Griffith first began assisting WeCare back in 2009 and 2010, providing surveys of our various facilities and conducting trainings for the employees located there. In 2012, he became involved in a comprehensive analysis of WeCare’s corporate-wide H&S program. In this initiative, he was able to cite various key strengths and weaknesses of the program, and making multiple recommendations to bolster our efforts.
One of those recommendations was to institute a full time EH&S Director position within the company, and upon being hired to serve this role in early 2013, Ev has been my first point of contact for all things H&S related. Of the many strengths and points of assistance Ev has provided since that time, certainly one of the primary elements has been his attention given to us as a client. As a consultant he goes far above and beyond assistance one could commonly expect. For example, while having nearly 100 on-going projects and clients, he has consistently gone out of his way to respond to all questions and communication in a very timely manner, and has conducted multiple on-site training sessions for our various facilities throughout the east coast whenever it was needed.
Ev’s other strong suit is his refined knowledge of Federal H&S regulations. While certainly comfortable and very helpful assisting us at the programmatic/corporate-plan level, he is equally knowledgeable about the minutia of various regulations, including confined space retrieval considerations, lengths of machine guardings needed, and so forth. I feel that he really views the understanding of these topics for employees as central to the program’s success, not just viewing each segment as box “check-off” items.
Overall, Ev Griffith provides a sound balance in working with a client and suiting their needs, by knowing that each company has unique operations and characteristics that must be considered, but also helping them to meet and exceed federal standards of compliance.

The Town of Owego was unable to remain in the Tioga County Consolidated Municipal Health Insurance Program (TCCMHIP) which presented a new challenge to the Town.
